Mrs Cotton ~Aka~ Bunny~

Our Special Needs Puppy Mill Rescue Shih Tzu~ when no one would take her ...I did.

She is spayed and is not a breeder~ Of Coarse~

Bunny was our Foster Shih Tzu,She is a real sweet dog! She is 3 legged as her mom chewed her leg and her tail off at birth in the puppy mill where she was born, we have had Bunny several years now and plan on keeping her.
She has been to the vet and had her rabies~ we learned she has heart disease.

She seems just cozy to sleep and be quiet most of the day , with an occasionally "hop around the yard~ The current plan is for her to spend her remaining days with my clan of Hobbits , elves and dwarfs, here at the Shire. She loves to play on the bed and chase your hand under the covers~Bunny is doing great she likes to stay to herself but sometimes I catch her playing a bit with Frodo...

UPDATE 12/07~ Bunny is getting sicker with her Heart Murmer and general health. We will continue to keep her as comfortable as possible.

Tender Heart

A Poem in honor of Bunny

I greet each day inside my cage

And wait for God to write my page

I wonder if you’ll come today?

And let me feel the light of day

My whole life has been dark with pain

And those who caused it--what did they gain?

They stole my trust, my livelihood

And all because they simply could

I yearn to run through scented fields

Without a cage and lock to yield

To chase a squirrel that can't be caught

To earn a love that can't be bought

But the darkest days have a light

In the quiet mornings that follow night

You come to visit every day

Without a motive, without a pay

You carried me when I was weak

Brought trust I was too pained to seek

You healed my wounds that took their toll

You rescued my slowly dying soul

And now I listen for your voice

Knowing that you're here by choice

You didn’t know me at the start

And yet I’m planted in your heart

I’m learning to accept your praise

And not avert my fearful gaze

Forgive me if I cower still

My life has been against my will

I feel that you are growing tired

Within this fight that you’ve been mired

If you can keep your doubts at bay

It would mean the world if you could stay

I can’t predict how this will end

But I know this of you, my friend

You selflessly all played your part

You saved me with your tender heart

This sweet little 3 legged girl has won our heart!

Bunny has found her forever home, here at the Shire!

Gimli Son Of Roo

Gimli was our first Shih tzu~ Is has a special place in our hearts! He is not a breeder~ We have neutered him.

Gimli at 6 weeks

Gimli at 12 weeks
Gimli is our wild child, we love him to death but were very happy we neutered him, as he is not breeding material and is a bit moody, at 18 lbs he is larger than we wanted as a stud, we bought him as a pet and he is a great dog but spoiled rotton! We believe in breeding for the betterment of the breed.

He loves the beach...its his favorite place in the whole world. This is Gimli and Bella with Pat at the beach
Gimli, digging at the beach, loves to chase the seagulls too!
I was named after Gimli...Elf friend, I'am a dwarf

International Champion Sired

I was named after a hobbit named Frodo
Frodo Baggins, a Hobbit of the Shire, became one of the most legendary figures in the history of Middle-earth when he undertook the quest to destroy Sauron's Ring of Power in order to bring about the Dark Lord's downfall. Frodo bore the Ring deep into Mordor despite great hardship and personal sacrifice, proving himself to be a hero of equal stature to the greatest warrior.

Frodo was born on September 22, 2968, to Drogo Baggins and Primula Brandybuck Baggins. He spent much of his youth at Brandy Hall in Buckland, the home of his mother's people. He was considered something of a rascal, particularly by Farmer Maggot from whom Frodo stole mushrooms. In 2980, when Frodo was still a child, his parents took a boat out onto the Brandywine River and were drowned. Frodo had no siblings, so he was left alone in the crowded tunnels of Brandy Hall until his cousin Bilbo Baggins adopted him and made Frodo his heir.

Bilbo and Frodo had a comfortable life at Bag End, a spacious Hobbit hole under the Hill in Hobbiton in the Westfarthing. Bilbo had once gone on an adventure and had returned with wealth and knowledge of the world outside the Shire. Frodo learned much from him about the peoples, legends, and languages of Middle-earth. The wizard Gandalf the Grey was a frequent visitor at Bag End, as were a number of Dwarves, and it was believed that Frodo would sometimes meet Elves in the woods of the Shire. For these reasons, Frodo was considered quite unusual for a Hobbit.
