Cooper's Family

Hi Bobbi!  Cooper is a little over four months old and weighing in at
3.14 lbs.  I remember when we were first looking for a puppy and found
your website.  I wondered if what people wrote was really true as you
can never be too sure with the internet these days.  Well, I never
imagined we would find the world's sweetest, nicest, cutest, cuddliest,
friendliest, smartest little dog ever.  He has brought so much joy to
my husband and I.  He was so easy to potty train and he can sit and
shake already! After our visit to the vet the other day I needed to
stop at the food store to buy milk.  Of course I couldn't leave baby
Cooper in the car and thus carried him in with me.  As we were standing
in line to pay, a women behind me asked, "is he always that good."  My
response was, an emphatic, "YES!"  He truly is wonderfully behaved and
such a calm and aid back little guy.  I tell Cooper often how lucky we
are to have found him.  We can't thank you enough for sending us our
little pal.  The time, effort and love you provide your puppies is
outstanding.  Your guidance and support to my husband and I was also
remarkable.  Thank you so much for leading us to our new best friend.

After doing years of thinking and research about getting a dog, we finally settled on a shih tzu as the right breed for our family.  We wanted a dog that was easy-going but playful, gentle and comfortable around children and not easily flustered by a bustling environment.  We also needed to find a dog that was hypo-allergenic, as three out of four people in our house have pet allergies.

Our dog Po was born this summer at The Shire.  Po and our family are a match made in heaven.  We met him at Bobbi’s and fell in love with him immediately for his gentle but playful nature and sweet face.  We could tell right away that he had been raised in a loving environment and was used to people.  He was very relaxed around all of us, including the kids.  He even fell asleep in our younger daughter’s arms during the visit!

We could also tell that Bobbi was a true professional.  She knew everything there was to know about shih tzu’s and was very upfront in answering our questions.  It was clear that she wanted her pups to find the right home.  She took the time to figure out what our personality was as a family to make sure that we found a puppy we would be happy with.

We brought Po home in the fall, and we couldn’t be happier.  He became a member of the family right away, and we can’t imagine life without him.  He was housebroken so quickly because of Bobbi’s training methods at the Shire.  We knew that the great personality we had seen when we met him as a tiny pup was for real: he was very receptive to meeting all our friends when they came over.  He was so confident and friendly, in fact, that many of our friends joke that he’s a tiny little guy with a big dog personality.

Bobbi has been a great resource ever since we brought Po home.  She’s always been able to answer our questions and to give us helpful hints when we’re not sure about something.  We are so thrilled with Po that we are seriously considering getting another puppy from the Shire.

Oh, and we’re all doing fine: not a sneeze since we brought Po home.  He’s the best!

This message is for those who are interested in  Bobbi's babies!!  I had a very good experience purchasing Lucy from Bobbi.  Her puppies are the best!  She definitely knows her stuff and is such a great breeder!  She would always be so quick to return emails, phone calls to me, and truly cares about her puppies even after they have left her home.  I had to have mine flown from Seattle to Las Vegas, and I can't tell you how great it all turned out.  Bobbi is very trust worthy, caring, and just a great Lady!!  I would definitely recommend  Bobbi to anyone!!   By the way, I absolutely love Lucy, she is just the perfect thing!!!  Thanks so much Bobbi for the awesome addition to our family!

We found Bobbi in a time of great sadness.  We had just lost our young Shih Tzu to Hemolytic anemia.  I (the mom) was just looking at the web to get a sense of what was out there for when we were ready to have another pup in our lives.  I was impressed by Bobbi's web site compared to others.  At the time I first saw it she only had some male puppies.  After a week or so I saw "Lacy".  She had been almost sold three two times.  I was hooked to that puppy.  My husband was not worried about getting another dog to soon.  We needed another dog in our house.  Bobbi was so prompt in response to my questions and concerns.  We are in Portland Oregon, and she is in Cle Elum Washington.  About 4 hour trip by car one way. I felt that Bobbi trusted us, and she made herself totally available for our questions. We love your little Chloe.  She is a happy, healthy girl.  The most sweetest temperament.  I truly think that a dog from Bobbi is well worth the money.  She puts her heart and soul into these dogs, and it defiantly shows.  Thanks Bobbi!!

Syd is probably the easiest puppy I have ever had the pleasure to invite into my home. I am almost afraid to say it but we are continually amazed by how smart, willing to learn and just plain fun this little girl is. I have had, over my lifetime, probably close to 19 dogs. Each and everyone of them were unique in behavior, mostly due to breed differences. Each and every one was loved and treated with respect. Some were harder to teach.. ie the Rottweilers... some were harder to house break...ie the Yorkies... but all were loved deeply and missed terribly when they passed. Sydney is incredible. She sleeps through the night in her kennel (on the bed between my husband and myself) she is, it seems totally house broken. even going as far as dragging  her wee pad to the back door to use.... it is incredible. Dwight told me last night that he would gladly pay the price again to have such a delightful, intelligent, loving little girl. She even sits up for her treat... Each dog has to earn their treats and wait until it is their turn. Max has to say hello... Pearl has to sit up pretty and now Syd - I asked her to sit pretty and by golly,,,, she DID!! I love her. Thank you so very much. She is totally a part of our family and fits right in- she has just amazed us with her charm and intelligence. Excellent job Bobbi, We love her so much. Already she has stolen our hearts.... and fits right into our household... Please let Karen know how well she has adjusted - and in such a short period of time... Like I said,, we are knocking on wood. this is the norm for your kids--- I am amazed. We love her to pieces. and apparently, it is reciprocated.
 

 

 

I am writing this , to talk about Bobbi Ransier and our experience with purchasing a puppy from the Shire. From the first contact that we had with her I was extremely impressed with her professionalism and caring attitude toward the process. Any question we had she was willing to answer and in such a prompt way. She sent us pictures of our little Bianca (a small female Shih Tzu) and even a youtube video. From what I have gathered this is unheard of from a breeder. We also had a high level of confidence in her as a breeder from her website. It had testimonials from other owners, a list of guidelines for purchasing puppies, and even pictures and narratives of Bianca's dog parents and how they live.

 

As we neared out little baby coming home Bobbi also sent us emails about training and suggested products to use for Bianca to help us prepare for her arrival. And when we arrived to pick her up we couldn't have found a more excited little puppy. (Tails were wagging and kisses were in abundance!) When we got home we took Bianca straight to the vet and he said she was a picture of perfect health and that we were very lucky to have her.

 

Since we first picked her up I have noticed that Bianca is exceptional as a dog. Her instincts to a crate and for training were unlike any other puppy that I have seen. She adapted very quickly to our home and our life and is more loving than we could have hoped for.

 

We still keep in contact with Bobbi through email. I send pictures of Bianca and we get emails of activities at the Shire. Overall I would recommend Bobbi to anyone interested in getting a healthy well adjusted dog. The care and time that she puts into her puppies is unique and hard to find in a breeder.

 I was very dubious about trying to find a puppy on line, but found Bobbi
of The Shire Shih Tzu and started correspondence. It was a delightful
experience and I could not be happier with her as a breeder or as
someone I can trust. The bottom line is I have just purchased my second
puppy from her.

Bobbi is a breeder with integrity. She cares about her puppies getting good homes, and she is available for support after the adoption of a puppy. She is available to answer any questions, and she replies to them promptly. We are very happy with our dealings with her, and if we ever adopt another Shih Tzu puppy we would go back to her.

Hi! My name is Jessica and I bought a beautiful shihtzu from Bobbi Ransier. Right from the start she was very helpful. I wanted a puppy for my mother since her dog Bernie is getting up there in years--fifteen to be exact! She invited me into her house and I was able to choose a puppy up close and personal. She sent along with me a care package; which included a information packet that answered just about every question you could think of, a blanket with her mothers scent on it, and also few chew toys that the puppy was familar with. I also purchased a puppy backpack, a car blacket and a sweater-all which she had available at her house. She was very knowlegable about this breed and was able to answer all my questions. Maggie Mae made a nice transition into my mother's household. She has the best personality and is full of joy. When I am able to welcome a puppy into my life I will be sure to give Bobbi Ransier a call.

Update!!!! I have purchaced a second Pup from the Shire.
I have never owned such well adjusted, socilizied dogs!


We are so happy with Odi, our shih tzu who we got from Shire Shi Tzu.
Bobbi made the whole process so easy. She was very accommodating and
helpful through the entire process. We have gotten a couple of other
shih tzus in the past from other breeders and have not had as good of
an experience. Odi came to us well-socialized, healthy, and happy. A
great companion dog! If I'm in the market for another shih tzu, you
can be sure I'll contact Bobbi!

The Shire Shih Tzu" was the best thing that could have happened to
us. They are committed to breeding puppies that are healthy, happy, and so
much fun to own. I called and Bobbi was so helpful to me by answering all of
my questions and responding to all of my concerns. I was given all of the
information necessary to make that all-important decision about owning a
puppy. Within a very convenient time period I was able to see one of these
darling puppies and of course as soon as I saw her I wanted her to be a part of our
family.

Our Shih Tzu is a beautiful black and white female named Rosie. She has a
wonderful personality in that she is playful, lovable, and has a good natured
way about her. We love her to death and she fit right in with our schedule
and routine because of the way she was raised at The Shire Shih Tzu household.
Bobbi showed so much concern for me and Rosie by staying in contact with
me for one or two weeks after making sure we were all doing well and inquiring
about our well being as well as offering much needed advice and suggestions.
This made our transition to owning a puppy again quite easy and in a
relaxed way. I also am impressed that I can stay in contact through the website.
If I ever want another puppy I would definitely do it exactly the same way.

The Shire’s Ho Lauda Moula alias “Cha Cheeng” UPDATE~ Marcia now owns 3 of our beautiful dogs!

It took me several months to decide if I wanted to invest in an Imperial pup. After conversing with Bobbi and watching what was “TOPAZ” grow from 2 weeks to 8 weeks, I promised myself that if he was not spoken for by his 8th week birthday then I knew he was meant for me.

Meeting Bobbi and all of her “fluffy friends”, I knew that I had made the right decision. Bobbi made me feel so at ease and was ever so helpful in answering all of my questions.

After checking out other sites and owning Shih Tzu’s for over 30 years, I can highly recommend the quality of pups that are being produced at The Shire. Bobbi’s “Fluffy Friends” ARE apart of her family. They spend a lot of time with them. Each and every one of them are sweeter that sweet… very loving dogs. I could have taken every one of them home with me.

If I die, I would like to come back as one of Bobbi’s “Fluffy Friends”.
